The Fosnot-Wilson Building originally constructed in 1917 is located on the corner of Monument Square in Lewistown. This prominent landmark building and location is known by nearly everyone in the local community and has a physical address of 13 East Market Street. When driving to or around Monument Square it is almost impossible to miss this building and any organization that decides to call this location home.

  • 1791 to 1809  -  Samuel Edmiston, Esq. Family Home   
  • 1792 to 1804  -  Site of the first county Prothonotary's Office
  • 1810 to 1814  -  Milliken Dry Goods, Groceries & Grain
  • 1814 to 1843  -  Maclay Family Home
  • 1843 to 1870  -  Hoffman Groceries and Hardware
  • 1871 to 1916  -  Historic Selheimer Hardware
  • 1916 to 1917  -  Fosnot Building was designed and built by WD Steinbach Sons. This is the building that exists today.
  • 1917 to 1929  -  Mifflin County Hardware Co.
  • 1930 to 1944  -  Specker's Furniture
  • 1944 to 1970  -  Bob Davis Clothing Store
  • 1971 to 2016  -  Wilson's Gifts and Jewelry
  • 2016 to Present - KC's Gifts, Jewelry & Awards
